“On my travels throughout Lithuania, usually for the purpose of photographing architectural monuments or historical sites, my thoughts always go to the remote homesteads with their old apple trees, and peonies under the windows, to the people who live far from the bustle of cities – „beyond history“. The light and tranquility if their homes attract me more than the country’s places.”
