“Assembling the views of welcome into this book, I’ve attempted to open up as many various landscapes and cityscapes that frame these signposts as I could.I also showed the chronology of welcome signpostsif the signposts has been replaced. I’m sorry that I could not visit every single signpost that was slated for removal before it was gone, and that I ould not hold up the publication of this book until the newest signposts were erected. These photographs are fist, second impressions of the vies of welcome of Lithuaniann towns experienced by a traveler on four wheels.”
